Jeff Young Fun Run

Run Information

June 11th at the Perry Soccer field (3000 S. 1200 W.) 5k starts at 9:00 and the 1 Mile Walk is at 9:30. Registration will begin at 8:15. Those who pre-register by June 1st will recieve a t-shirt (designed by Jeff). Those who register after June 1st will recieve a t-shirt upon availability. We will have a raffle and Silent Auction following the run.

*5k group rate By June 1st $50 After June 1st $60
*1 Mile group rate By June 1st $40 After June 1st $50

*Group Rate is up to 6 members of the same immediate family particpating in the race together.

Jeff unexpectedly passed away from Heart Failure on March 1st of this year. We are organizing this fundraiser as a Memorial to Jeff and to be able to help the family finacially. The run/walk is to take place at the new Soccer Field next to the City offices. Jeff was very instrumental in the implementation of the new Soccer Field, through his
connections and influence at Geneva Rock.

Jeff was very talented and creative. One of his latest projects he was working on was designing t-shirts. He had just recently finished a design that he planned to have printed. He never got the chance to do so. The t-shirts that our runners will recieve is the one that Jeff designed. We will all be able to pay tribute to Jeff as we put on his shirt and come together as friends and a community at the "Jeff Young Fun Run".
